Our Story
Turbofleet started in 2010 with a straightforward observation: Melbourne’s northern suburbs had strong demand for vehicle hire and almost no local options. The brands at Tullamarine Airport served travellers. The CBD operators served the city. Nobody was genuinely serving Craigieburn, Broadmeadows, Epping, and the growth corridors that were expanding rapidly along the Hume Freeway.
We opened our first branch at 2a Rushwood Dr, Craigieburn. Within a year, the phone was ringing steadily — households moving into new estates, tradies needing cargo vans, small businesses requiring occasional freight vehicles, families needing a second car for the school holidays. The need was real and consistent.
Our second location in Ravenhall followed, positioned to serve Melbourne’s western corridor and the businesses in the Derrimut and Sunshine industrial precincts. Ravenhall also sits 8km from Melbourne Airport via the Western Ring Road — a route that gives our customers genuine off-airport convenience without the terminal surcharge.
Today we hire cars, vans, trucks, and buses. The core principles haven’t changed: local service, honest pricing, well-maintained vehicles, and staff who actually pick up the phone.
